Summary
PinNote is designed to keep your notes private. The developer does not operate an account service, advertising system, or analytics service for PinNote.
Information PinNote handles
- The two notes you enter
- Archived notes and reminder choices
- Settings needed to show notes in widgets, Live Activities, Dynamic Island, and the Apple Watch app
This information is stored locally in PinNote’s private app container and shared App Group so the app, widgets, Live Activities, and Apple Watch components can work together. PinNote does not send your note contents to the developer.
Dictation and Apple services
If you choose dictation, PinNote uses Apple’s microphone and Speech Recognition frameworks. Depending on your device and Apple’s service availability, speech recognition may be processed on the device or by Apple. Apple’s handling of that data is governed by Apple’s privacy policies and your device settings.
Advertising, analytics, and tracking
PinNote does not contain advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking. The developer does not sell personal information.
Deleting your information
You can delete or replace notes inside PinNote. Deleting PinNote removes its locally stored app data, subject to Apple’s normal device backup and restoration behavior.
